What Work is Happening?
To accommodate the installation of overhead hydro poles, crews will be accessing a Toronto Hydro cable chamber on Eglinton Avenue West. In order to safely access the chamber and carry out the work, the curbside eastbound lane on Eglinton Avenue West from west of Winnett Avenue to Allen Road South will be closed temporarily.

Upcoming Toronto Hydro Relocation Work At Cedarvale Station
What Work is Taking Place?
To accommodate upcoming shoring activities for the new Cedarvale LRT Station, crews will be relocating Toronto hydro infrastructure in the area of Everden Road and Eglinton Avenue West. For pedestrians travelling north on Everden Rd the ONLY access to Eglinton Avenue West will be through Ben Nobleman Park. Pedestrians will be routed through the pre-existing paved pathway through Ben Noblemen Park to the sidewalk on Eglinton Avenue West. Lire la suite »

In mid-July 2018, the area around Eglinton West Subway Station (Cedarvale) will see another round of traffic changes. Work zones will move to the north side of Eglinton Avenue. The Allen Road exit ramp will be realigned, pedestrians will no longer be able to access the subway from the north side of Eglinton Avenue and active traffic lanes will shift south. Lire la suite »
