Dewatering wells at Leaside Station
What Work is Taking Place?
Crews will drill a number of dewatering wells and open a trench to connect the wells along the south side of Eglinton Avenue East from Bayview Ave to 595 Eglinton Avenue East.

What Work is Taking Place?
To complete the Bell Relocations works currently underway at the Bayview and Eglinton Avenue East intersection, crews will extend the work zone in to the intersection at Bayview Avenue on the south side of Eglinton Ave E. Work will take place in two stages; stage one will take place on the west side of Bayview Avenue at Eglinton Avenue and stage two will take place in the middle of Bayview Avenue at Eglinton Avenue. What Work is Taking Place?
To complete the Bell Relocation works currently underway on the southwest corner of Bayview Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East, crews will extend the work zone into the intersection on the south side of Eglinton Ave East.

Shoring at Leaside Station
What Work is Taking Place?
Beginning in early-January 2017, and pending permit approval, crews will start support of excavation work, also known as shoring, at the future Leaside Station. The station is located at the intersection of Bayview Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East, with the main station entrance on the southeast corner and the secondary entrance on the northwest corner. Steel piles as well as braces and tie-backs will be installed around the perimeter of the station box and entrances to support excavation. Lire la suite »
Update: Maintenance Work at Cross Passage 11
What work is Taking Place?
Crews will perform maintenance on the dewatering wells for Cross Passage 11. Dewatering wells are required for cross passage construction to ensure that the water table remains low enough to allow for hand mining work to be completed.
