Sidewalk Closure at Rosemount Drive and Eglinton Avenue East to Support Subsurface Utility Investigation Work
What Work is Taking Place?
As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will be conducting subsurface utility investigation along Eglinton Avenue East between Birchmount Road and Rosemount Drive.
Work began as early as November 26th. There will be sidewalk closure on the north side of Eglinton Avenue East near 2306 Eglinton Avenue East in order to safely carry out the work. Lire la suite »
Investigation of Underground Utilities between Birchmount Road and Rosemount Drive
What Work is Taking Place?
In support of construction of the future At-Grade stops, crews will be conducting subsurface utility engineering (SUE) investigation work along Eglinton Avenue East between Birchmount Road and Rosemount Drive.
Crews will drill bore holes and use a hydro-vacuum truck within the City’s right-of-way and roadway to determine the location and depth of existing underground utilities for design purposes. Lire la suite »
Overnight Invert Concrete Pours at Kennedy Station
What Work is Taking Place?
As part of continued support for the future Kennedy Station portal construction, crews will be delivering and pouring cement along Eglinton Avenue East between Ionview Road and Kennedy Road as early as Friday, December 7, 2018 from 4:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. To facilitate this delivery, concrete trucks will be arriving to the site west of Ionview Road.
Wet Utility Upgrades along Surface Section of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT: Birchmount Road to Rosemount Drive
What Work is Taking Place?
In support of construction of the future At Grade stops, crews will be conducting wet utilities relocation work along Eglinton Avenue East between Birchmount Road and Rosemount Drive. Starting as early as December 3, 2018 and lasting approximately four (4) months, crews will install new pipes, and replace manholes and catch basins. The work will be conducted in stages.

As part of continued support for the future Kennedy Station portal construction, crews will be delivering and pouring cement along Eglinton Avenue East between Ionview Road and Kennedy Road on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 10:00 p.m. until completion. To facilitate this delivery, concrete trucks will be arriving to the site west of Ionview Road.

Due to an unforeseen issue, there will be left-turn restrictions at Ionview Road and Eglinton Avenue East beginning as early as Wednesday, November 7, 2018. Crews are currently working on a long-term resolution.

What Work is Taking Place?
As part of construction of the future Kennedy Station, crews continue to upgrade and relocate wet utilities along Eglinton Ave between Ionview Road and Kennedy Road.
Crews continue to work on installing the new storm and sanitary system from Ionview to Kennedy and will complete their work with a final connection to the existing manholes located within the Kennedy and Eglinton intersection. Lire la suite »
