Overnight Closure of Temporary Access Road for Utility Work

WHAT WORK IS TAKING PLACE?
To facilitate the ongoing utility relocation at the future Kennedy Station, there will be overnight closures of the Temporary Access Road.
Work began on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 and was scheduled for approximately three (3) nights. Due to extreme cold temperatures the work was incomplete. Crews will resume sleeving out wires on the hydro lines at the temporary access road on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. Lire la suite »
Reopening of North End of Existing East Platform at Kennedy GO Station
What Work is Taking Place?
Kennedy Station is an interchange station with connections to the GO Transit Stouffville Line, the TTC Scarborough RT, the TTC Bloor-Danforth subway, and a TTC bus terminal. Change of Construction Hours at Kennedy Station
WHAT WORK IS TAKING PLACE?
To facilitate continued progress on the support of excavation works (shoring) for the future Kennedy Station, crews will be working until 11 PM on a regular basis beginning as early as January 7th, 2019.
This will occur until early February 2019. Additional notice will be provided should this be extended.

Intersection Work at North Service Road and Eglinton Avenue East
WHAT WORK IS TAKING PLACE?
To facilitate the ongoing piling activity at the future Kennedy Station, the signals at Eglinton/North Service Road will be temporarily deactivated this Monday, January 7th and the intersection will be operated with PDOs.
This will enable crews to install two piles that conflict with the location of a span wire. The operation will take place during off-peak hours to reduce impact to drivers and TTC services. Lire la suite »

What Work is Taking Place?
As part of the continued support of excavation works (shoring) and utility relocations for the future Kennedy Station, traffic staging at the intersection of Kennedy Road and Eglinton Avenue East will be changing in October. Overnight Work at South Bus Loop and Passenger Platform at Kennedy Station
What Work is Taking Place?
In support of construction of the future Kennedy Station, crews will be installing wet utilities pipes in the south bus loop and passenger platform area at Kennedy Station.
Working will involve removing existing concrete and excavating a trench followed by installation of the pipe and area restoration. To minimize disruption to transit users, the work will be performed overnight. Lire la suite »

What Work is Taking Place?
As part of continued support for the future Kennedy Station portal construction, crews will be delivering and pouring cement along Eglinton Avenue East between Ionview Road and Kennedy Road on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 4:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. To facilitate this delivery, concrete trucks will be arriving to the site west of Ionview Road. As part of continued support for the future Kennedy Station portal construction, crews will be delivering and pouring cement along Eglinton Avenue East between Ionview Road and Kennedy Road as early as Friday, December 7, 2018 from 4:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. To facilitate this delivery, concrete trucks will be arriving to the site west of Ionview Road.
