Lane Reductions for Black Creek Bridge Waterproofing Along Eglinton Avenue West


What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Thursday, September 16, 2021, the traffic configuration along Eglinton Avenue West at the Black Creek Bridge will change to accommodate the next stage of waterproofing the Black Creek Bridge.  To facilitate this work safely, traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane in each direction, east of Black Creek Drive.  This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on weekdays for approximately fifteen (15) days.   

What to Expect

Noise from construction activities can be expected.  Expect delays while travelling through the area.  Traffic control personnel and/or a paid duty officer will be present, while this work takes place.

Hours of Work

  • As early as Thursday, September 16, 2021, for approximately fifteen (15) working days.
  • This work is expected to take place Monday - Friday between 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.

Traffic Impacts

  • Traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane in each direction, east of Black Creek Drive.

Pedestrian Impacts

  • No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work.

Transit Information

  • No changes to current TTC routes are expected, as a result of this work.
