Overnight Lane Reduction on Bathurst Street for Utility Works - October 29, 2021

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Friday October 29, 2021, crews at Forest Hill Station will perform utility works on Bathurst Street. To facilitate this work safely, Bathurst Street will be reduced to a single lane south of Eglinton Avenue West, with northbound and southbound traffic alternating. This work is expected to take place overnight between 9:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. for approximately one (1) night.  

What to Expect

Overnight noise from construction activities can be expected while this work takes place. Expect delays while travelling through the intersection. No utility interruptions are expected as a result of this work.

HOURS OF WORK

• As early as Friday October 29, 2021, for approximately one (1) night
• This work is expected to take place between 9:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
• Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• Bathurst Street will be reduced to a single lane only south of Eglinton Avenue West
• Northbound and southbound traffic will alternate 
• Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present, while this work takes place
• The westbound left turn from Bathurst Street to Eglinton Avenue West will be restricted while this work takes place

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work
