Overnight Lane Reduction on Bayview Avenue for Utility Works at Leaside Station

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Thursday, November 11, crews at Leaside Station will perform wet utility inspections on Bayview Avenue. To facilitate this work safely, traffic on Bayview Avenue will be reduced to one lane for both directions just north of Eglinton Avenue East. This work is expected to take place from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. for approximately two (2) nights. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place.

What to Expect

Overnight noise from construction activity can be expected. No utility interruptions are anticipated as a result of this work. Expect delays while travelling through the intersection.

HOURS OF WORK

• As early as Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., for approximately two (2) nights
• This work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• Bayview Avenue will be reduced to one lane only north of Eglinton Avenue East.
• Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place.
• The current turn restrictions will remain in place during this work.  

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work.

TRANSIT DETAILS

• Access to TTC bus stops will be maintained at all times.
