WHAT WORK IS TAKING PLACE?

On Wednesday, March 28, crews will make a slight modification to the current work zone setup at Forest Hill Station beginning in the evening. This stage is very similar to the current stage but involves the barriers on the east side of Bathurst to be shifted further north to allow for works to proceed in the south east. 

To minimize the impact to pedestrians and road users, this work will be completed overnight.  

TIMING

Overnight from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Thursday)

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Some noise from construction activity as well as sight lighting can be expected
  • Pedestrians and road users can expect delays when travelling through the intersection

TRAFFIC AND PEDESTRIAN IMPACTS

  • Traffic lanes on Bathurst Street will continue to remain on the west
  • The east crosswalk will remain closed and the west crosswalk will still be open
  • The northeast sidewalk on Eglinton Ave W will continue to be closed and pedestrians will be rerouted around the Main Entrance
