Notice of Overnight Utility Work: Mount Pleasant Station
Monday June 15 – Tuesday June 16, 2020
What Work is Taking Place?
On Monday June 15 and Tuesday June 16, 2020 crews at Mount Pleasant Station will perform overnight utility work on Eglinton Avenue East between Mount Pleasant and Taunton Roads. To perform this work safely, the eastbound lane on Eglinton Avenue East will be temporarily closed between Mount Pleasant and Taunton Roads. Eglinton Avenue East will be reduced to one lane only, alternating traffic in each direction, while this work takes place. Crews will reopen the lane once the work is complete.
Work is expected to begin at 8:00 p.m. and take will take approximately seven (7) hours to complete. During this time, noise from construction equipment, including concrete and hydro-vacuum trucks, can be expected. Crews will endeavour to minimize disruption as much as possible. Traffic control personnel and/or a paid duty office will be present while this work takes place.
