WHAT WORK IS TAKING PLACE?

 On Saturday, March 3, 2018, crews will pour the second concrete roof slab at Forest Hill Station.  Concrete will be poured into the southwest station box area on Eglinton Avenue West, west of Bathurst Street.  This will form the roof of the future station. Concrete vehicles will be staged in the southbound curb lane on Bathurst Street, south of Eglinton Avenue West.  Concrete vehicles will exit site onto Peveril Hill North.

While every effort will be made to complete this work prior to 11:00 p.m., it is possible that work may continue later.

TIMING

  • Saturday March 3, 2018, beginning at 7:00 a.m.
  • Work may continue past 11:00 p.m.
  • This work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.

CONSTRUCTION STAGING


 WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Noise from construction activity can be expected.
  • Heavy truck traffic on Bathurst Street and Peveril Hill North can be expected.
  • On-street parking on Bathurst Street, south of Eglinton Avenue West will be temporarily unavailable.

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • The work zone on the southwest corner of Bathurst Street and Eglinton Avenue West will be extended further south to accommodate truck staging.
  • Trucks will exit site onto Peveril Hill North.
