What Work is Taking Place?

Beginning as early as Tuesday, October 12 until Friday, October 22, 2021, crews will be performing sidewalk restoration work on Eglinton Avenue East, on the north side of the East Don River Bridge. This work is expected to take place from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

What to Expect

Noise from construction activities including concrete milling, resurfacing, and pouring of concrete can be expected. One westbound lane on Eglinton Avenue East will be reduced daily to accommodate this work, and restored nightly. The north sidewalk will be closed between Wynford Drive and Swift Drive.

HOURS OF WORK

  • Tuesday, October 12 – Friday, October 22, 2021
  • 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • One westbound lane on Eglinton Avenue East and will be reduced

PEDESTRIAN IMPACTS

  • The north sidewalk will be closed between Wynford Drive and Swift Drive.
  • There will be no changes to TTC stops
