WHAT WORK IS TAKING PLACE?

The north work zone at Chaplin Station is being extended further east, closing Latimer Avenue and the western, Eglinton-facing driveway of Shoppers Drug Mart.

This traffic change is required to provide improved traffic safety conditions as we continue support of excavation (or shoring) and will also make way for the next steps of shallow excavation and roof slab construction.

TIMING

  • Latimer Avenue at Eglinton Avenue West will close as early as late-February, 2018.
  • Latimer Avenue at Eglinton Avenue West will remain closed for the duration of 2018.
  • Work may be delayed due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
