Extended: Telecommunication Relocation Work between Victoria Park Avenue and Birchmount Road
What Work is Taking Place?
Crews will continue to relocate and upgrade existing overhead and underground telecommunication between Victoria Park Avenue and Birchmount Road, as part of construction of the future surface section for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT.
Telecom work commenced in February and has been extended until the end of the year (Fall/Winter 2018).
Hydro Work along Surface Section of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT at Warden Avenue
What Work is Taking Place?
In support of construction of the future At Grade stops, crews have been upgrading and relocating existing overhead hydro utilities between Pharmacy Avenue and Warden Avenue near Eglinton Avenue East.
Starting as early as Monday, November 5, 2018 and lasting for approximately two (2) weeks, crews will be conducting hydro pole installation at the north-west, north-east, and south-west corners of Warden Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East. Lire la suite »

Update: New Traffic Changes from Victoria Park Avenue to Birchmount Road to Support Surface Section Work
What Work is Taking Place?
As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will be conducting traffic changes in order to accommodate road widening, upgrading and relocating wet utilities and dry utilities along Victoria Park Avenue to Birchmount Road starting as early as Friday, September 21st.
Preparatory work for the reconfiguration will take place as early as Friday, September 21, 2018 starting at 7:00 PM and ending Monday, September 24, 2018 at 6:00 AM. Lire la suite »

As work intensifies along the surface portion of the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit Project in preparation for guideway construction, there will be some major changes.

Rolling Sidewalk Closures for Telecommunication Utility Work from Warden Avenue to Birchmount Road
What Work is Taking Place?
On Monday, August 20, 2018, crews will begin relocation of telecommunication utility infrastructure along the north side of Eglinton Avenue East from Warden Avenue to Birchmount Road.
Rolling sidewalk closures of approximately 30 meters in length will be in effect for the duration of this work. Property access will be maintained at all times, however, delays can be expected.
