Bell Utility Relocations at Eglinton Station

mars 29, 2017

What Work is Taking Place?

  • In preparation for building Eglinton Station, many utilities must be relocated to allow for support of excavation. To support the relocation of Bell utilities, crews will be digging trenches to install new duct banks and relocating the existing services.
  • The next phase of this work is the relocation of Bell utility banks along Eglinton Avenue East from Yonge Street to Holly Street (depicted in the image below).

  • Work is expected to begin March 29, 2017 and will last for approximately three weeks.
  • Work is permitted between the hours of 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM, 7 days a week.
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours, but may do so at its discretion.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
