Overnight Sewer Relocation Work at Forest Hill Station

mai 10, 2017

What Work is Taking Place?

In order to continue support of excavation work at Forest Hill Station, crews must relocate an underground sewer on Eglinton Avenue West.  A manhole will be constructed on Eglinton Avenue West, east of Bathurst Street and north of the existing work zone.  Traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane, with a flag person on each end of the work zone to direct traffic in alternating directions.

To minimize the impact to traffic, this work will be performed overnight for approximately one (1) week.  At the end of each shift, the manhole will be covered and traffic will be restored to one lane in each direction.

Hours of Work

  • Beginning Friday May 12, between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., including weekends.
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours, but may do so at its discretion.
