Overnight Lane Reduction at Forest Hill Station Week of October 7, 2019

Overnight lane reductions will be on Eglinton Avenue at Bathurst Street the week of October 7, while crews perform watermain work.  No overnight work is planned for the evening of Tuesday October 8th.  Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane only between Hilltop Rd and Old Forest Hill Rd, alternating traffic in each direction using a Paid Duty Officer and/or traffic control personnel.  At the end of each shift, the area will be plated and one lane of traffic in each direction will be restored.

  • Week of October 7th, excluding the evening of Tuesday October 8th, overnight
  • 8:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.

 What to Expect

  • Traffic on Eglinton Ave will be reduced to one lane only between Hilltop and Old Forest Hill Rds, alternating traffic in each direction using a Paid Duty Office and/or traffic control personnel
  • Noise from construction activity and lighting can be expected
  • One lane off traffic in each direction will be restored at the end of each shift
  • Motorists can expect delays when travelling through the intersection
