Update: Sidewalk Restoration at Keelesdale Station- August 31, 2020

What Work is Taking Place?

Crews at Keelesdale Station continue with road restoration at the intersection. As early as Monday August 31, crews will begin sidewalk restoration on the south side of Eglinton, east of Yarrow Rd. Work will take approximately two weeks to complete. Work will continue within regular working hours at Keelesdale, from as early as 6:00am until 11:00pm.


What to Expect

Crews will be demolishing and restoring the south sidewalk between Yarrow Road and Keele St. Pedestrians will be temporarily rerouted through the Green P parking lot. Crews will maintain access to businesses and residences through the duration of this activity. Dust and debris can be expected. Noise levels will remain the same as regular construction activity.


  • Crews continue to work as early as 6:00am - 11:00pm
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion
  • This work may take longer or shorter than expected


  • All current traffic restrictions will remain in place
  • No impacts to TTC bus service


  • The south sidewalk will remain open
  • Pedestrians will be temporarily rerouted through the Green P lot on the southwest corner of the intersection
  • Access to businesses and properties will be maintained


  • Noise from construction equipment such as trucks or excavators can be expected.
