Notice of Possible Water Pressure Change February 8-24, 2021

What Work is Taking Place?

Utility work for the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit Project is underway at the intersection of Chaplin Crescent and Eglinton Avenue West.  Starting Wednesday February 8, 2021, for approximately two (2) weeks, properties in the pictured catchment area (above) may experience periods of lower than usual water pressure while crews work on the 600 mm water main.  This is not a water shut-off notice.  Water service will be maintained but lower water pressure can be expected.

Water Pressure Change Details:

  • Wednesday February 8 to Wednesday February 24, 2021
  • Properties in the pictured catchment area may experience lower than usual water pressure

  • Properties within the catchment area between Chiltern Hill Road to Spadina Road and Eglinton Avenue West to Ava Road may be affected
  • This is not a water shut-off
  • Water service will be maintained but lower water pressure can be expected

  • There are no changes to traffic configuration or pedestrian routing associated with this work
