Road Milling Works - Eglinton Avenue East between Victoria Park Ave - Warden Ave. Aug 23 – Aug 27, 2021

In preparation for the upcoming final road restoration works, crews will perform road milling works on Eglinton Avenue East between Victoria Park and Warden Avenues. This work will begin as early as Monday, August 23, 2021, and continue through to Friday, August 27, 2021. This work is expected to take place between 8:00 p.m - 6:00 a.m., with occasional accessory work taking place during regular work hours. Traffic on Eglinton Avenue East will be reduced, while this work takes place. 

What to Expect

Noise from construction activities including asphalt removals (milling) and asphalt paving. Access to all connecting streets and driveways will be maintained for the duration of this work. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place.

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • Traffic on Eglinton Avenue East will be periodically reduced to one lane only from Monday August 23 – Friday August 27, 2021.

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • There will be no changes to pedestrian routes
  • There will be no changes to TTC stops

HOURS OF WORK

  • Monday August 23 – Friday August 27, 2021
  • This work is expected to take place between 8:00 pm - 6:00 am
  • Work may be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances
