Sidewalk Restoration at Fairbank Station - November 15, 2021
What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Monday November 15, 2021, crews at Fairbank Station will begin sidewalk restoration work on the north side of Eglinton Avenue West, east of Dufferin Street. The sidewalk between 1794 Eglinton Avenue West – 1818 Eglinton Avenue West will be removed and reconstructed. To facilitate this work, temporary pedestrian rerouting may be in effect between 1794 Eglinton Avenue West – 1818 Eglinton Avenue West. Ramps will be temporarily installed at the building entrances to maintain accessible business and property access. This work is expected to take place for one (1) week between approximately 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
What to Expect
Noise from construction activities, including concrete breaking and trucks, can be expected. Property access will be maintained at all times.
HOURS OF WORK
- As early as Monday November 15, 2021, for approximately one (1) week.
- This work will take place between 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.
- This work may be longer or shorter than expected.
TRAFFIC DETAILS
- No changes to the current traffic configuration as a result of this work.
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- Pedestrians may be temporarily rerouted around areas where sidewalk construction is taking place.
TRANSIT INFORMATION
- All TTC bus stops will remain in their current locations.
