Lane Reductions at Black Creek Drive for Permanent Traffic Light Installations and Activation - November 22, 2021

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Monday November 22, 2021, crews at Mount Dennis Station will begin permanent traffic light installations and activation at Black Creek Drive and Eglinton Avenue West. To facilitate this work safely, northbound, southbound, eastbound, and westbound traffic will be reduced to one through lane at the intersection.  This work is expected to take place on Monday – Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. for approximately one (1) month.

 

What to Expect

Expect delays while travelling through the area. Noise from construction can be expected. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be preset while traffic lights are being activated.

 

HOURS OF WORK

  • As early as Monday November 22, 2021, for approximately one (1) month.
  • Work is expected to take place on Monday – Friday between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Work may take longer or shorter than expected.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.

 

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • Northbound, southbound, eastbound, and westbound traffic will be reduced to one through lane at the Black Creek Drive and Eglinton Avenue West intersection.

 

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work.

 

TRANSIT INFORMATION

  • No changes to TTC routes are expected, as a result of this work.
