Sidewalk Restoration Works on the south side of Eglinton Avenue East at the TPSS 9 Building

 

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as, Wednesday, June 22, 2022, crews will be performing sidewalk restoration works on the south side of Eglinton Avenue East at the TPSS 9 Building. To facilitate this work, the sidewalk on the south side of Eglinton Avenue East by the TPSS 9 Building will be temporarily closed. Pedestrians will be directed to use the north sidewalk for access to and from the northbound RVP off ramp and Credit Union Drive. This works is expected to take place on between 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for approximately two (2) days.

What to Expect

Noise from construction activities, including concrete breaking and pouring, can be expected.  Expect delays while travelling through the area. The sidewalk will reopen upon completion of the work.

HOURS OF WORK

  • As early as Wednesday, June 22, 2022, for approximately two (2) days.
  • This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.
  • This work may be longer or shorter than expected.

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • No changes to the current traffic configuration as a result of this work.

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • The sidewalk on the south side of Eglinton Avenue East will be temporarily at the TPSS 9 Building.
  • Pedestrian will be directed to use the north sidewalk for access to and from the northbound DVP off ramp and Credit Union Drive.

  • Access to TTC will be maintained at all times.
