What Work is Taking Place?

In preparation for the upcoming final road restoration works, crews will be performing utility adjustments and base repairs between Leslie Street and Don Mills Road as early as Monday, July 11, 2022. To facilitate this work safely eastbound and westbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue East may be periodically reduced in areas between Leslie Street and Don Mills Road. Through-traffic in all directions and all turns will be maintained. This works is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. for approximately five (5) days. What to Expect

Expect delays while travelling through the area. Noise from construction activities can be expected. Access to all streets and driveways will be maintained for the duration of this work. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place.

HOURS OF WORK

  • As early Monday, July 11, 2022, for approximately five (5) days.
  • This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
  • This work may be rescheduled or delayed due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Work may be longer or shorter than expected.

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • Eastbound and westbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue East may be periodically reduced in areas between Leslie Street Don Mills Road.
  • Through-traffic in all directions and all turns will be maintained.

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work
