Notice of Parking Restrictions at 801 Mount Pleasant Road (August 4 - August 6, 2022)

What Work is Taking Place?

From Thursday, August 4 – Saturday, August 6, 2022, parking at 801 Mt Pleasant Road will be restricted to accommodate construction works at Mount Pleasant Station’s Secondary Entrance. For safety purposes, seven (7) parking spaces located on the south side of the parking lot will be unavailable during this work. The north side of the parking lot will remain open (refer to map above). 

What to Expect

No parking on the south side of the parking lot at 801 Mt Pleasant Road. Use of minor construction equipment within the parking lot. Activities will be visible at the Secondary Entrance from street level. Noise from construction activities, including trucks, hammering, crane movements, and material loading, can be expected. Signage, traffic barrels, and other materials will be used to delineate the work area.
 
HOURS OF WORK
  • Thursday, August 4 - Saturday, August 6, 2022.
  • Work within the parking lot is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m - 7:00 p.m. 
  • Parking restrictions will remain in place on a 24-hour basis.
  • Work may be resheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforseen circumstances. 

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • The seven (7) parking located on the south side of the parking lot at 801 Mount Pleasant Road will be unavailable during this work. 
  • The north side of the parking lot will remain open. 

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected resulting from this work. 
  • The south side of the parking lot will be restricted to pedestrians.

  • Access to TTC will be maintained at all times.
