Lane Reductions at Keelesdale Station for Loop Detector Installations - Monday, August 8, 2022
What Work is Taking Place?
As early as, Monday, August 8, 2022, crews will be completing the installation loop detectors at Keelesdale Station. Loop detectors detect when a vehicle is traveling or has stopped in a roadway. To facilitate this work safely, southbound traffic on Keele Street will be reduced to one right turn lane, one through lane, and one left turn lane, north of Eglinton Avenue West. A paid duty officer will be present while this work takes place. This work is expected to take place on Monday – Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for approximately one (1) week.
What to Expect
Expect delays while travelling through the area. Noise from construction activities, can be expected. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be preset while this work takes place.
HOURS OF WORK
- As early as Monday, August 8, 2022, for approximately one (1) week.
- This work is expected to take place on Monday – Friday between 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.
- This work may be longer or shorter than expected.
TRAFFIC DETAILS
- Southbound traffic on Keele Street will be reduced to one right turn lane, one through lane, and one left turn lane, north of Eglinton Avenue West.
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- No changes to the current pedestrian routes as a result of this work.
TRANSIT INFORMATION
- Access to TTC will be maintained at all times.
