Temporary Laneway Closure for Berwick Portal Construction - October 24, 2022

What Work Is Taking Place?

On Monday, October 24, 2022, crews at Eglinton Station will temporarily occupy the laneway between

Berwick Avenue and Hillsdale Avenue West (refer to map) to perform material deliveries at the Berwick

Portal. The closure is expected to take place from 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Once the work is complete, the

laneway will reopen.

What to Expect

Noise from construction equipment, including trucks and a crane, can be expected. No thru access for

vehicles or pedestrians while the laneway closure is in effect. Some parking spaces may be impacted. Expect

delays while traveling through the area.

• Monday, October 24, 2022.

• The closure is expected to take place from 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

• This work may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.

TRAFFIC AND PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• The laneway between Berwick Avenue and Hillsdale Avenue West will be temporarily closed to

vehicles and pedestrians, while this work takes place.

• Berwick Avenue will remain open during this work.

TRANSIT INFORMATION

• Access to TTC will be maintained at all times.
