What Work is Taking Place?

As early as, Monday, November 28, 2022, crews will be performing final paving works on Allen Road North at Eglinton Avenue West. To facilitate this work safely, the on-ramp to Allen Road North from Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane. This work is expected to take place on Monday – Wednesday between 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for approximately three (3) days.

What to Expect

Noise from construction activities, including concrete pours, paving, grading, and compacting, can be expected. Traffic barrels, fencing, and signage will be in place to delineate work zones. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times. Expect delays while travelling through the area. The road will reopen upon completion of the work.

HOURS OF WORK

  • As early as Monday, November 28, 2022, for approximately three (3) days.
  • This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.
  • This work may be longer or shorter than expected.

TRAFFIC DETAILS 

  • The on-ramp to Allen Road North from Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane.

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • No changed to the current pedestrian routes as a result f this work.

TRANSIT INFORMATION

  • Access to TTC will be maintained at all times.
