The Toronto LRT Plan is an $8.4 billion investment by the Government of Ontario, and includes The Eglinton Crosstown LRT, Finch West LRT and Sheppard East LRT.
Mount Pleasant Station
Mount Pleasant will be an underground station located at the intersection of Mount Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue East.
At this location, there will be two entrances. The main, fully accessible entrance at the northwest corner of Eglinton Avenue and Mount Pleasant Road. This entrance will also retain and integrate the exterior of the existing building, and will include retail space at street level. The secondary entrance will be located at the northeast corner of Eglinton and Mount Pleasant Road.
There will be on-street connections to TTC buses.
There will be 30 outdoor bicycle parking spaces.
- The main entrance will fit inside the existing heritage building (once a bank and now retail space) on the northwest corner of Eglinton and Mount Pleasant Road. The interior will be repurposed to support transit usage.
