Avenue Station Headwall Construction for Twin Tunnels

What we are building?

What: In this phase of construction, crews will be building the headwalls for the future Avenue Station. Headwalls are underground support walls located at the east and west ends of the station location. Emergency Exit Building Construction - Continued Closure of Donlea Drive at Eglinton Avenue East - Phase 2

Emergency exit buildings (EEBs) are used to evacuate passengers from tunnels in the event of an emergency at track level during operation. An EEB is being built close to Donlea Drive.
