Steel Beam / Pile Removal on Eglinton Avenue West Near Glen Cedar Road (Stage 2)

The Eglinton Crosstown is a transit project that will provide rapid and reliable service across Eglinton Avenue. It includes an underground central section from Keele Street to Laird Drive, and will bring transit service that will be up to 60% faster than bus service today.

What work is starting?

What: Crews will be removing steel beams or piles in conflict with the Crosstown tunnel route located on the south side of Eglinton Avenue West near Glen Cedar Road. Read more »

Eglinton Avenue - South Side Sidewalk Closures

The Eglinton Crosstown is a transit project that will provide rapid and reliable service across Eglinton Avenue including an underground central section and will be up to 60% faster than bus service today.

What work is starting?

What: A long-term closure of the pathway to Eglinton Avenue from Aerodrome Crescent is required.

Initially, a short-term closure of the north side pedestrian walkway along Eglinton Avenue is required for approximately four to six weeks. The sidewalk on the south side of Eglinton will be open during this time. Read more »

Kennedy Station Design Update Meeting

The online consultation for the preliminary station and stop designs for the Eglinton Crosstown project is now closed. Thank you to everyone who attended the open house or sent comments to us online. This consultation covered the station design concept for the Crosstown Kennedy Station, including the mobility hub study. As well, the surface stop design concepts and surface alignment from Bermondsey to Kennedy.
