Works are short duration and will begin within the existing work zone at the main entrance. Work taking place outside the existing work zone will occur on Eglinton Avenue, east of the main entrance.

Hours of Work

  • Work is permitted between the hours of 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM, 7 days a week.
  • Work is expected to begin as early as December 11, 2017 and take approximately two (2) months to complete.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

Traffic and Pedestrian Impacts

  • Additional lane reductions may be required. A minimum of one through lane will be maintained in all directions.
  • Pedestrian access will be maintained, but may be temporarily rerouted around construction zones.
    What to Expect
  • Bell relocation work is expected to begin first, followed by watermain investigations.
  • Nearby residents and businesses can expect to hear noise in the area caused by excavators, hydro-vaccing, trucks and other construction equipment.
  • In addition to construction activity, residents can expect to see equipment and material storage within the designated work zones.
