What Work is Taking Place?
Between Friday March 19 - Sunday March 21, 2021, crews at Avenue Station will perform chipping works at the Secondary Entrance site. Chipping is the process of using an excavator and jackhammer to remove concrete and hardened material. Periodic chipping activities are expected to take between 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. for approximately three (3) days.
What to Expect
Noise from construction activities including concrete breaking, hammering, crane use, and material loading can be expected. Expect delays while travelling through the intersection.
HOURS OF WORK
- Friday March 19 – Sunday March 21, 2021
- Chipping activities are expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- Crews at Avenue Station are regularly operating on a 24-hour basis Monday to Friday and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Work may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances
TRAFFIC & PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- No changes to the current traffic configuration and pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work
