WHAT WORK IS TAKING PLACE?

As early as Saturday November 30th, crews at Caledonia will perform a concrete pour to form an upper concourse slab in the future station’s main entrance. Westbound Eglinton Ave W will be reduced to one (1) lane only between Blackthorne Ave and Gabian Way.

TIMING

  • Saturday November 30th, 2019
  • Lane reductions will begin at approximately 6:00am and last for approximately nine (9) hours. 
  • In the event of inclement weather, work may be rescheduled.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Noise from concrete trucks and equipment can be expected
  • There will be no impacts to pedestrian routes or TTC stops.

TRAFFIC IMPACTS

  • Motorists can expect delays when travelling through the intersection.
  • One westbound lane on Eglinton Ave may be occupied while this work takes place.
  • There will be no impacts to TTC stops.


PEDESTRIAN IMPACTS

  • There will be no impacts to pedestrian routes.
