What Work is Taking Place?
Crews at Fairbank continue to perform large concrete pours. On Monday, August 10, crews will be pouring walls within the station box. Work will begin as early as 5:30am and the pour will be ongoing for approximately 12 hours. Concrete pumps will be placed in the laneway parallel to Eglinton Ave W, south of the intersection. Concrete trucks will be staged on Dynevor Rd. The laneway parallel to Eglinton Ave W between Dynevor Rd and Dufferin St will be closed for the duration of the pour. Dufferin St and Eglinton Ave W will remain open while this work takes place.
What to Expect
Concrete trucks will be staged on Dynevor Rd, south of Eglinton Ave W. Access to properties along Eglinton Ave W, Dufferin St, and Dynevor Rd will be maintained. Noise from concrete trucks can be expected.
Traffic Impacts
· The laneway between Dufferin St and Dynevor Rd will be closed to all vehicular traffic for the duration of this pour.
· Concrete trucks will be staged on Dynevor Rd.
· Dufferin St and Eglinton Ave W will remain open.
Pedestrian Impacts
· Periodic sidewalk interruptions – pedestrians will be rerouted to temporary sidewalk
· All TTC bus stops will remain in their current locations
Hours of Work
· The concrete pours will begin as early as 5:30am and last for approximately 12 hours.
· The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion.
· Work may be rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
· This work may be longer or shorter than expected.
