What Work is Taking Place?

On Monday August 12th, crews will perform concrete pours at the main entrance station box of Fairbank Station. Work will begin as early as 1:00pm and the pour will be ongoing for approximately 5 hours. The concrete will form an extension of the main entrance concourse level. Concrete pumps will be placed at Vaughan Road and within the Main Entrance work zone. Dufferin Street and Eglinton Avenue West will remain open while work takes place.  

Hours of Work

  • As early as Monday August 12th, 2019 beginning at 1:00 p.m. for approximately 5 hours.
  • In the event of inclement weather, this work will be rescheduled for Tuesday August 13th.

What to Expect

  • Increased truck traffic travelling through the area.
  • In addition to construction activity, residents can expect to see equipment and material storage within designated work zones.

 Traffic Details

  • The pedestrian route on the west side of Dufferin will remain closed. The north, south, and east crosswalk will remain open.
  • Access to properties along Vaughan Rd, Eglinton Ave W and Dufferin St will be maintained.
  • No impacts to TTC bus service.
