What Work is Taking Place?

Crews at Fairbank Station continue to perform large concrete pours. Crews will be pouring on Wednesday, February 10, beginning as early as 7:00am. Concrete pumps and trucks will be placed on Vaughan Road, adjacent to the Fairbank Station Main Entrance site. Vaughan Road, Dufferin Street, and Eglinton Avenue West will remain open while this work takes place.

 

What to Expect

Concrete trucks will be staged on Vaughan Road. Noise from construction equipment, such as concrete trucks and construction vehicles, can be expected. Access to properties along Eglinton Ave W, Dufferin St, and Vaughan Rd will be maintained.

 

HOURS OF WORK

  • Wednesday, February 10
  • The concrete pour will begin as early as 7:00am and last for approximately nine hours
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances
  • This work may be longer or shorter than expected

 

TRAFFIC IMPACTS

  • Approximately three parking spaces at the end of Vaughan Road will be temporarily displaced
  • The traffic configuration at the intersection will remain the same
  • Dufferin St, Eglinton Ave W, and Vaughan Rd will remain open

 

PEDESTRIAN IMPACTS

  • All current pedestrian routes will remain the same
  • All TTC bus stops will remain in their current locations
