What Work is Taking Place?

Crews at Fairbank Station continue to perform large concrete pours. Crews will be pouring on Friday January 22, beginning as early as 7:00 a.m. Concrete pumps will be placed within the Main Entrance work zone. Concrete trucks will be staged on Dufferin Street, south of Eglinton Avenue West. Dufferin Street and Eglinton Avenue West will remain open while this work takes place.

 

What to Expect

Concrete trucks will be staged on Dufferin Street. Access to properties along Eglinton Avenue West, Dufferin Street, and Vaughan Road will be maintained. Noise from construction equipment, such as concrete trucks and construction vehicles, can be expected.

 

HOURS OF WORK

  • Friday January 22
  • The concrete pour will begin as early as 7:00 a.m. and last for approximately eight hours
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances
  • This work may be longer or shorter than expected 

 

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • Concrete trucks will be staged on Dufferin Street, south of the Eglinton Avenue West
  • Dufferin Street and Eglinton Avenue West will remain open

 

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • Periodic sidewalk interruptions – pedestrians will be rerouted to temporary sidewalk

 

TRANSIT INFORMATION

  • All TTC bus stops will remain in their current locations
