What Work is Taking Place?

On Friday March 29, crews will perform a concrete pour at the Main Entrance area of Fairbank Station. The concrete will form part of the Main Entrance walls.  A concrete pump will be placed on Vaughan Road behind the Main Entrance site, and concrete trucks will deliver concrete to the site.  Dufferin Street and Eglinton Avenue West will remain open while work takes place.

Hours of Work

  • Friday March 29, 2019 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
  • In the event of inclement weather, this work will be rescheduled

What to Expect
  • Noise from construction activity can be expected
  • A concrete pump will be stationed at Vaughan Rd, south of the Main Entrance
  • Concrete trucks will be present in the vicinity of Dufferin St and Eglinton Ave, and will queue on Vaughan Rd
  • Traffic control personnel will assist with pedestrian and vehicle traffic
  • Motorists may experience delays when travelling through the intersection
