What Work is Taking Place?
As part of continued support of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will be conducting a concrete pour of the guideway in the center of Eglinton Avenue East just east of Warden Avenue and Thermos/Sinnott Road.
Crews will be delivering and pouring cement along Eglinton Avenue East just east of Warden Avenue and Thermos/Sinnott Road as early as Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 7:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. To facilitate this delivery, concrete trucks will be arriving to the site from the east and west of Eglinton Avenue East.

- Work is expected to start as early as Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 7:30 am until 7:00 pm.
- Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
- Heavy trucks entering and exiting the work zone (approximately every three to four (3-4) minutes).
- Trucks will be entering and leaving site at:
- The west of Eglinton Avenue East and will use the left lane to enter the staging
- The east of Eglinton Avenue East and will use the left lane to enter the staging
- Flagmen will be available to direct traffic and pedestrians.
- A minimum of one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained during this work.
- In addition to construction activity, residents and businesses can expect to see equipment and material storage within the designated work zones.
- As always, please take care when travelling near work zones.
- All open sidewalks and crosswalks will be maintained during this work.
