Traffic Configuration

On Wednesday, June 16 and Thursday June 17, 2021, crews at Avenue Station will perform two concrete pours at the Main Entrance site. To safely carry out the works, westbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane at the Main Entrance. Each pour will begin as early as 5:00 a.m. and will take approximately twelve (12) hours to complete. Crews will endeavor to minimize the disruption caused by this work.  

 

What to Expect

Noise from construction activity including concrete trucks and pumps can be expected. 7+ concrete trucks are expected per hour. Please note that concrete trucks must remain running to allow for continuous turning of the mixer and to discharge concrete.  Expect delays while travelling through the intersection.  

 

Hours of Work

•    Wednesday, June 16 and Thursday June 17, 2021 

•    Each pour will begin as early as 5:00 a.m. for approximately twelve (12) hours.

•    This work may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances. 

 

Traffic Details

•    Westbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane at the Main Entrance. 

 

Pedestrians Details

•    No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work.
