Overnight Road Closures for Tunnel Boring Machine Removal - March – April 2020


What Work is Taking Place?

Starting Tuesday March 10, 2020, crews at Eglinton LRT Station will begin removing the tunnel boring machines (TBMs) from the excavation on the northeast corner of Duplex Avenue and Eglinton Avenue West. The TBMs will be removed in six heavy loads, followed by approximately 25 smaller loads. The six heavy loads will be removed using a crane that will place each load onto a truck to be taken to an off-site facility.   Read more »

Concrete Pour at Caledonia Station March 2, 2020


What Work is Taking Place?

On Monday, March 2, 2020, crews at Caledonia will be pouring concrete to form a slopped roof slab. The concrete pour will begin at 3:00am and continue to 5:00pm. No lane closures will be required for this work.

Stop Shelter Installation at Pharmacy Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East - March 3-6, 2020

What Work is Taking Place

As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will continue stop construction east of the Pharmacy Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East intersection. Permanent shelters will be installed as early as March 3, 2020 and assembly will last for (4) days.

Work includes crane installation and shelter assembly; this will require lane closures on either side of the mid-block guideway to help facilitate work safely.
