What Work is Taking Place?
Decking repairs continue at Bayview Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East. The traffic configuration depicted below will be in place beginning 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 8 through to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2020. Paid duty officers and flag persons will be onsite to assist with directing traffic and pedestrians for the duration of the work.
Timing
- Beginning as early as 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, through to Thursday, January 9 at 7:00 p.m.
- Temporary lane closures may occur for decking repairs through 2020.
What to Expect
- Lane restrictions and pedestrian detours are required to complete this work safely.
- Noise from concrete trucks and pumps can be expected.
- Traffic delays can be expected for the duration of the pour, Please allow extra time for your journey.
Traffic Impacts
- One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained.
- All left turns in the intersection will be restricted.
- The northbound right turn will be restricted at the intersection.
Transit Information
- There is no impact to existing TTC stops.
Travelling Smart during Construction
Travel delays are expected with the Crosstown construction. Please allow extra time for your journey. Traffic will be extra heavy at peak periods during the Crosstown construction. When possible, please travel during the off-peak period between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
