What Work is Taking Place?
From Wednesday June 23 to Friday June 25, 2021, crews at Avenue Station will be decommissioning dewatering wells on Avenue Road and Eglinton Avenue West. This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Some wells will require temporary lane reductions in the area. One lane in each direction will be maintained at all times. Traffic control personnel and Paid Duty Officers will be present while this work takes place.
What to Expect
Noise from construction activity can be expected. Expect delays while travelling through the intersection. Access to properties will be maintained. All current construction staging for Crosstown work zones will remain in place. In addition to construction activity, residents can expect to see equipment and material storage within designated work zones.
HOURS OF WORK
- Wednesday June 23 – Friday June 25, 2021
- Work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- This work may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances
TRAFFIC DETAILS
- Temporary lane reductions on Avenue Road and Eglinton Avenue West
- One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work
