What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Friday, June 17, 2022, crews will be decommissioning monitoring wells on Bicknell Avenue at Eglinton Avenue West. The wells served as part of the Geotechnical Instrumentation and Monitoring Program (GIMP). To facilitate this work, access to Eglinton Avenue West from Bicknell Avenue will be restricted while work takes place. Work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. for approximately one (1) day.
What to Expect
Access to Eglinton Avenue West from Bicknell Avenue will be restricted. Expect delays while travelling through the area. Noise from construction activities can be expected. The affected properties have been notified directly. A traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place.
HOURS OF WORK
- As early as Friday, June 17, 2022, for approximately one (1) day.
- Work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- This work may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.
- Work may be longer or shorter than expected.
TRAFFIC DETAILS
- Access to Eglinton Avenue West from Bicknell Avenue will be restricted.
- Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place.
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- No changes to the current pedestrian routes as a result of this work.
