What Work is Taking Place?

In December 2020, crews will begin to demolish the building at 2020 Bathurst Street (formerly ScotiaBank), located on the southwest corner of Bathurst Street and Eglinton Avenue West.

What to Expect

Scaffolding will be installed along the west sidewalk on Bathurst Street, adjacent the building.  Noise from construction activity, including use of an excavator, crane and trucks, can be expected.

The work zone at Peveril Hill Road and Eglinton Avenue West will continue to be used for equipment and material storage.

HOURS OF WORK

  • Beginning the week of December 7, 2020 for approximately three (3) months
  • Demolition work will take place between 6:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m., Monday – Sunday
  • Crews may not work every day of this period, but may do so at their discretion 

TRAFFIC & PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • Scaffolding will be installed along the west sidewalk on Bathurst Street, between Eglinton Avenue West and the laneway 

TRANSIT INFORMATION

  • No changes to TTC routing are expected with this work
