What Work is Taking Place?
Starting November 4, 2019, crews will install several dewatering wells in the vicinity of Bathurst Street and Eglinton Avenue West, as part of the construction of Forest Hill Station. Dewatering wells form part of the system that removes ground water during excavation. This work will take place overnight between 9:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m. During each shift, sidewalk interruptions may be in effect on the north side of Eglinton Ave between the Secondary Entrance and Bathurst St.

- Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances
Construction Staging
What to Expect
- Overnight noise from drilling activity as well as ongoing excavation work can be expected
- Site lighting can be expected
- Sidewalk interruptions on the north side of Eglinton Ave between Bathurst St and the Secondary Entrance; pedestrians may experience delays when travelling through the area or be directed to use the south sidewalk
- Property access will be maintained
- No changes to the current traffic configuration are expected
