What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Monday, January 16, 2023, crews at Cedarvale Station will install a duct bank on the north side of Eglinton Avenue between Allen Road North and Flanders Road. To facilitate this work safely, Eglinton Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction east of Allen Road North to Flanders Road. To mitigate disruption to traffic, this work will take place during off-peak hours between 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. for approximately three (3) days.

What to Expect

Noise from construction equipment including excavators and trucks can be expected. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place. Expect delays while travelling through the intersection.

HOURS OF WORK

  • As early as Monday, January 16, 2023 for approximately three (3) days
  • This work is expected to take place between 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.  
  • Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.

TRAFFIC DETAILS 

  • Eglinton Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction east of Allen Road North to Flanders Road

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work.
