What Work is Taking Place?

On Wednesday, May 1 and Thursday, May 2, crews will close the southbound lane of Dufferin Street immediately south of Eglinton Avenue to remove piles from the station box.  Dufferin Street will be reduced to one lane only between Eglinton Avenue and Hunter Avenue, alternating traffic in each direction while this work takes place.  To minimize the impact to traffic, this work will take place at night.

Hours of Work

  • May 1st and 2nd, 2019 starting at 8:00 p.m. for approximately six (6) hours

What to Expect

  • Dufferin St will be reduced to one lane only between Eglinton Ave and Hunter Ave, alternating traffic in each direction using traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer
  • Noise from construction activity as well as site lighting can be expected
  • Motorists can expect delays when travelling through the intersection
