Lane Reduction for Road Repair at Fairbank Station - July 14, 2020

What Work is Taking Place?

On Tuesday July 14, crews at Fairbank will conduct road repairs east of Dufferin Street on Eglinton Avenue West. To complete this work, Eglinton Avenue West, east of Dufferin Street, will be reduced to one lane; for this portion of Eglinton Ave West, two-way traffic will be controlled by traffic control personnel and Paid Duty Officers. The lanes will be reduced from as early as 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Concrete Pour at Fairbank Station - June 24, 2020

What Work is Taking Place?

On Wednesday June 24, crews will perform a concrete pour to form a wall at track level. Work will begin as early as 6:00am and the pour will be ongoing for approximately 12 hours. Concrete pumps will be placed within the secondary entrance work zone on the northwest corner of the intersection. Concrete trucks will be staged on Eglinton Avenue W, west of Shortt St. Dufferin St and Eglinton Ave W will remain open while work takes place.

Crane Erection on Vaughan Road at Fairbank Station - June 15, 2020

What Work is Taking Place?

On Monday June 15, 2020, crews will install a crane on Vaughan Road adjacent to the Fairbank Station Main Entrance site. The crane will remain in place for approximately two weeks to assist with lifting and hoisting activities at the future station’s Main Entrance. Read more »
