What Work is Taking Place?

Crews at Keelesdale Station are performing an emergency water shut-off along Eglinton Avenue West, between Yarrow Road and Trethewey Drive/Keele Street, on Wednesday June 3, 2020. Water will be shut off from as early as 7:30am until approximately 10:00am. Crews will turn water back on as soon as it is safe to do so. During this time, there will be no water available from the taps or toilets. Access to businesses will be maintained. There will be no impacts to TTC bus service.

Hours of Work

  • Water will be shut off on Wednesday June 3 at 7:30am for approximately three hours.
  • Work may be extended due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion.
  • This work may take longer or shorter than expected.

What to Expect

  • Water will be shut off to properties on the south side of Eglinton Avenue West, between Yarrow Road and Trethewey Drive/Keele Street.
  • There are no changes to the existing traffic configuration and pedestrian routes.
  • No impacts to TTC bus routes.

Travelling Smart during Construction

Travel delays are expected with the Crosstown construction. Please allow extra time for your journey. Traffic will be extra heavy at peak periods during the Crosstown construction. When possible, please travel during the off-peak period between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
